
FSDEA participates at the 15th Annual Harvard University Conference on African Development
The Angola Sovereign Wealth Fund (FSDEA) is pleased to announce that its Chairman of the Board, Armando Manuel, will participate at the 15th Annual Harvard University Conference on African Development. This prestigious event, organised by the Harvard African Law Association, will take place in Cambridge, USA, on the 12th and 13th of April, under the theme Africa Delivers: Pragmatic Path to Prosperity.
Armando Manuel will be a featured speaker on the Meet the Industrial Champions panel, where, on the second day of the event, he will discuss alongside Paulo Gomes, CEO of the Orango Investment Corporation from Guinea-Bissau, the strategies for Africas transition to an industrialised economy. The FSDEA Chairman will address the continents vision and efforts, particularly Angolas, in promoting local production, industrialisation, and economic diversification. The conference will gather academics, economists, industrial leaders, and innovators from across Africa, including notable figures such as George Weah, former President of Liberia, Didier Drogba, former Ivorian footballer, and Mohamed Amin Adam, Finance Minister of Ghana, to discuss the continents economic development.
The participation of the Angola Sovereign Wealth Fund in the event highlights Angolas strategic importance in the dialogue on sustainable African development and the diversification of the continents economies.
