The Sovereign Fund of Angola (FSDEA) began an intensive training program for its executives, focused on corporate governance and strategic development. The training, conducted in collaboration with IVENS Governance Advisors, aims to equip FSDEA executives with the skills needed for effective leadership and informed decision-making in a dynamic global economic environment. The program covers a series of critical modules, including Risk Management, Stakeholder Leadership and Strategic Execution. Additionally, the training incorporates role-playing simulations, case studies from renowned institutions such as Harvard, INSEAD and IMD, and interactive group debate sessions. These activities are designed to promote an in-depth understanding of the nuances of corporate governance in complex and multifaceted contexts. Dr. Armando Manuel, President of the FSDEA, expressed enthusiasm about the development of the program: 'This initiative is a fundamental step towards strengthening leadership and governance capacity at the FSDEA.
