Pedro Sebastião Teta, born on April 28, 1959, in the commune of Kindegi, Nzeto municipality, Zaire province, is a professional with extensive experience and academic background in Automation and Computer Engineering. He obtained his Bachelor's degree in 1983, Master's degree in 1984, and subsequently his Doctorate from the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, specializing in the field of Intelligent Control using Artificial Intelligence techniques in 1994.

December 2023-Present: Non-Executive Director at the Angolan Sovereign Wealth Fund.

ACADEMIC JOURNEY:

  • 1984-1987: Assistant in the Departments of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Chemical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, UAN.
  • 1987-1990: Assistant Professor in the Departments of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Chemical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, UAN.
  • 1990-1994: Associate Professor in the Department of Informatics Engineering and Electrical Engineering.
  • 1994-Present: Full Professor 'Catedrático' in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering and at the Independent Higher Institute of Lubango.
  • 1995-1997: Head of the Department of Informatics and Electrotechnics at the Faculty of Engineering, UAN.
  • 2023: Postgraduate degree in Cybersecurity from the European University of Lisbon.

  • 2002: Coordinator of the Executive Committee for the Total Solar Eclipse in Mavinga.

  • 2010-2017: Coordinator of the Network of Mediatecas of Angola (REMA), a project initiated by the President of the Republic.
