Alcides Horácio Frederico Safeca

Alcides Horácio Frederico Safeca is a professional with over three decades of experience. He holds a Master's degree in Finance and Credit from the Faculty of Economics at the State University of Kichinev (former USSR). He has held various leadership positions in financial institutions and governmental organizations in Angola, notably as Secretary of State for Budget, playing a key role in formulating and executing government financial and budgetary policies.
Professional Experience:
- - Administrator of the Angolan Sovereign Wealth Fund, assuming the position on July 30, 2019, where he plays a fundamental role in the strategic management of the country's financial resources.
- - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Banco de Fomento Angola, S.A., since August 14, 2023, leading supervisory and oversight activities within the institution.
- - Chairman of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of Banco de Poupança e Crédito, from November 1, 2017, to June 20, 2019, making significant contributions to the development and implementation of growth and sustainability strategies.
- - Secretary of State for Budget, from February 2010 to September 2016, playing a key role in formulating and executing government financial and budgetary policies.
